Job Overview:
The Opportunity
As a Change Support Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting various initiatives that align with the strategic objectives of our client's Technology Services. You will collaborate with program managers, product managers, and subject matter experts to design and implement comprehensive change management strategies that facilitate acquisition integrations and other strategic projects, ensuring minimal disruption and enhancing user adoption across both business and technical domains.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with executive sponsors, program team members, and functional partners to ensure effective organizational change management for programs.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to promote cross-functional cooperation and alignment.
• Evaluate the scope of changes and suggest the necessary level of engagement to effectively reduce disruption and foster adoption.
• Oversee all aspects of change management, including user identification and engagement, impact assessments, communication strategies, training evaluations, addressing resistance, and reinforcement efforts.
• Provide consultation and coaching to program teams regarding organizational and business change standards.
• Establish and lead change agent networks for initiatives as needed.
• Promote continuous improvement by integrating feedback and lessons learned into updated Change and Program Management methodologies and tools.
Qualifications:
• Practical experience in organizational change management, encompassing people, processes, and technology transformations.
• Proven expertise in change management principles with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; certification is advantageous.
• Outstanding communication skills tailored for diverse audiences, both written and verbal, utilizing various formats.
• Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Capacity to inspire and influence others towards a shared vision or goal without direct authority.
• Adaptability and resourcefulness; resilience in uncertain situations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and organizational levels.
• Technical proficiency with demonstrated use of metrics and analytics.
• Intermediate to advanced graphic design skills for visual storytelling; experience with Adobe suite is preferred.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
