Organizational Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Organizational Consultant to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco. As a key member of our EVCP Projects Team, you will use your expertise in organizational development and effectiveness to advance projects that have a significant impact on our organization.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a deep understanding of business needs and how systems support those needs. You will work closely with senior faculty and staff administrative leaders, Deans of the UCSF Schools and Divisions, and Senior Leadership with UCSF Health and UCOP to provide consulting, project management, group facilitation, and change management services.
Responsibilities- Use your knowledge of organizational development concepts to help clients define and develop organizational objectives to resolve complex, often politically sensitive issues.
- Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining business results.
- Facilitate and influence people at all levels, persuading through both logic and appeal to positive motivations.
- Ability to handle multiple constituencies, agendas, engagements, and tasks, and to deal productively with ambiguity and conflict.
- Ability to learn quickly, reason, synthesize, and generalize based on information obtained; sound judgment; ability to draw unbiased conclusions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
- 10 years directly related experience (in addition to degree).
- Expert knowledge of the organizational development and effectiveness field, theories, models to assess, design, and implement customized organizational interventions.
- Demonstrates superior analytical, problem-solving, project planning, and implementation skills.
- Have superior written, verbal, and presentation skills for influencing and facilitating sustained change.
