Assembler Exterior Door Production Specialist

Job SummaryThis is an entry-level position that performs repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs. As an Assembler Exterior Door Production Specialist, you will be responsible for placing parts in specified relationships, bolting, clipping, screwing, cementing, or otherwise fastening parts together, cutting products to specific measurements, removing defective products, and tending machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble exterior doors and other products to meet quality and production standards
- Operate machinery and equipment to perform assembly tasks
- Inspect products for defects and remove any defective items
- Work at different workstations as production needs require
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
- No prior experience or education required
- Prior carpentry experience is helpful but not necessary
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Verbal expression ability to effectively present information
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to read tape measure
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
