Metrology Specialist

Zoetis is seeking a highly skilled Metrology Specialist to join our team in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Metrology Specialist, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, modifications, installations, and maintenance of analytical systems, including liquid gas chromatography, gas chromatography, dissolution, FT-IR, spectrophotometers, balances, and scales.

• Perform preventative maintenance, modifications, installations, and maintenance of analytical systems.
• Document work in a GMP compliant manner using maintenance management software.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, assembly, and repair of systems in a laboratory or production environment.
• Measure pressure, level, flow, temperature, and other parameters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize new processes.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Contribute to scaling lab processes and method transfers.
• Ensure the sustainability and scalability of all procedures as the company grows.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience in metrology and analytical systems maintenance.
• Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and operations.
• Technical proficiency in relevant areas, including GMP manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the Zoetis organization.
• Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
