Position Overview

As a seasoned internal consultant, you will spearhead large-scale, intricate process enhancement initiatives across various business sectors within Wellmark. Utilizing methodologies such as Business Process Management, Lean, and Six Sigma, your role will focus on elevating business performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and achieving cost savings. You will engage directly with senior executives to pinpoint process improvement opportunities and select the most suitable methodologies for implementation. Your expertise will ensure that process management tools and techniques are effectively integrated throughout the organization, leading to sustainable business results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the Team Leader to plan, assign, and oversee process improvement projects by evaluating business needs and priorities.
2. Conduct comprehensive process assessments, incorporating customer feedback and performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
3. Lead enterprise-level transformation initiatives, applying Business Process Management, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize business performance and customer satisfaction.
4. Exhibit mastery in various process improvement methodologies and tools, ensuring their integrity in application by the Process Excellence team.
5. Provide timely training to project team members on process improvement methodologies and tools, enhancing their capabilities.
6. Mentor Green Belts, Black Belts, and Lean Practitioners to achieve peak performance and oversee certification processes.
7. Assist in the development and execution of a cohesive process improvement strategy aligned with Wellmark's strategic objectives.
8. Manage the daily execution of project ideation, chartering, assignment, and completion, including oversight of project tracking and reporting tools.
9. Identify and integrate industry best practices and customer insights to support process improvement strategy execution.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
