Mesa Verde Post Acute Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a long-term care setting. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide Nursing Care: Administer professional services to help residents maintain their physical and emotional well-being, as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Admit, Transfer, and Discharge Residents: Ensure a smooth transition for residents, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
- Conduct Daily Resident Rounds: Evaluate the status of residents and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Record Care Information: Accurately and timely document care information, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications as ordered, ensuring resident safety and well-being.
- Supervise CNAs: Oversee the activities of Certified Nursing Assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Participate in Infection Control and Emergency Procedures: Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
- Assume Charge Responsibility: Take on leadership roles as required, ensuring continuity of care and resident well-being.
- Address Resident and Family Concerns: Respond professionally to resident and family inquiries, addressing concerns and providing support.
- Make Rounds: Ensure appropriate care is being provided, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Meet with Nursing Personnel: Collaborate with nursing staff to identify and correct problems, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Assist in Revision and Distribution of Nursing Assignments: Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing assignments, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Participate in Disciplinary Action and Evaluation of Nursing Personnel: Support the evaluation and development of nursing staff, promoting growth and improvement.
- Present a Professional Image: Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor when interacting with residents, family members, and other stakeholders.
- Treat Residents and Family Members with Dignity and Respect: Foster a culture of compassion and empathy, ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of residents and their families.
- Participate in Quality Assurance Program: Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of our services, ensuring we meet the highest standards of quality and care.
- Correct Findings and Deficiencies: Address any issues or concerns identified during quality assurance activities, ensuring continuous improvement.
