Job Title: Account Executive Officer

At THE TRAVELERS INDEMNITY COMPANY, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Middle Market Business Center, you will play a critical role in underwriting and negotiating complex customer accounts, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of business insurance accounts, identifying opportunities for growth and retention.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and external agents and brokers.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and negotiate coverage terms to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capture new business opportunities.
  • Support the execution of sales plans and strategies to drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in business insurance underwriting, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • CPCU designation a plus.
