Director of Environmental Health and Safety

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Environmental Health and Safety to join our team at Danaher Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with established company policies, federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategies to systematically control and reduce site safety hazards and environmental impact.
- Utilize Lean Principles to drive Continuous Improvement impacting EHS and Sustainability programs.
- Engage site functions and prioritize initiatives and resources to maximize effectiveness.
- Establish and achieve goals based on gap analysis of department or plant EHS performance.
- Stay current on regulatory issues/trends through seminars, networking, industry group participation.
- 10+ years relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years of EHS management experience.
- EHS technical work in a manufacturing operations environment demonstrating implementation of safety management plan for flammable chemicals.
- Ability to lead and influence across levels and departments in multiple geographies.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

- Salary range: $170k-$207k.
- Bonus/incentive pay eligible.
