Opportunity Overview:

In order to thrive, organizations require external insights into their operations. Whether establishing a new entity, revitalizing an existing one, or navigating organizational transitions (such as mergers or separations), our clients seek a consultant who will invest time in understanding the intricacies of their mission and offer actionable recommendations for enhancing business processes, achieving mission objectives, and implementing best practices.

Your Role:

We are looking for a management consultant capable of evaluating all facets of client operations and providing a strategic roadmap to help them realize their organizational aspirations. As a member of our consulting team, you will create a comprehensive assessment of your clients' current frameworks, daily functions, and outcomes, presenting insights they may not have previously considered.

Collaboration and Analysis:

On our team, you will engage in discussions and workshops with stakeholders and analysts to pinpoint the most effective elements within their environment and identify areas for enhancement. After gaining a deep understanding of potential improvements, you will collaborate with leadership to outline a path forward.

Professional Development:

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in event planning while acquiring new consulting skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional federal government setting.
  • Proven experience in managing data requests, analyzing event submissions, and coordinating with senior leadership on event logistics.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prepare and analyze plans and reports, identify best practices, and evaluate complex documentation.
  • Experience conducting gap analyses of existing policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in providing Helpdesk support.
  • Knowledge in developing and maintaining databases for tracking and reporting on events and associated costs.
  • Capability to swiftly generate quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports, reviewing requirements for process enhancements.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior leadership, event coordinators, and stakeholders, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse workload independently.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination as per client requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting the U.S. Department of Justice.
  • Background in government meeting planning.
  • Experience in developing dashboards to monitor compliance with key event metrics.
  • Possession of a Public Trust clearance.
