Job Opportunity

Pvilion is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our engineering team as an Engineering Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including designing, building, and testing solar energy systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop solar energy projects.
  • Assist in the manufacturing and production of new and existing products.
  • Model complex structures using mathematical and computational methods.
  • Support the design team in executing projects, including material specifications, procurement, and fabrication.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinate prototyping and engineering challenges, and troubleshoot unexpected problems.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of basic mechanical and electrical engineering principles, including power and energy calculations, force calculations, and electrical system specifications.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, specifically Autodesk Inventor, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with power equipment, including drill presses, angle grinders, and chop saws.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with soldering and working with various wire gauges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
