Job Description

The Project Developer will be responsible for leading the development of utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects from inception to completion. This includes managing site selection, securing real estate rights, and negotiating with landowners and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also navigate the permitting process, oversee environmental assessments, and manage regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage solar, wind, and energy storage projects from inception to completion
  • Manage site selection, real estate rights, and stakeholder negotiations
  • Navigate permitting processes, environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver projects within budget and on schedule
  • Identify market trends and shape project strategies with leadership
  • Prepare and manage responses to RFPs and oversee project bidding processes
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in renewable energy project development
  • Proven experience in managing solar, wind, and/or energy storage projects
  • Strong skills in land development, stakeholder management, and regulatory negotiations
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and tax incentives for renewable energy projects
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required
