Key Responsibilities:

In the role of Equipment Rental Technician II, you will play a crucial part in supporting incoming and outgoing rental operations. You will also contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your responsibilities will include the evaluation, maintenance, and repair of rental blower and compressor systems at the company’s rental facility.

  • Prepare, package, and dispatch outgoing rental orders while adhering to all relevant processes and safety protocols. Manage the unloading, organization, cleaning, and return of items from incoming rental operations.
  • Assemble blower and compressor systems according to company-defined procedures, ensuring accuracy, precision, and quality.
  • Interpret and utilize equipment diagrams, checklists, and other documentation to assemble blower systems per client specifications. Employ General Arrangement (GA) drawings for assembly tasks.
  • Conduct inspections, evaluations, and repairs of equipment both at the rental facility and at client locations, utilizing best practices for root cause analysis and quality service delivery; perform diagnostic assessments and preventative maintenance on client products or installations.
  • Engage with clients to discuss project requirements, offer recommendations and service options, address client concerns, and provide updates during service calls and upon completion.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service; interact professionally with clients and colleagues, assess future client needs, and communicate relevant information through appropriate channels.
  • Review work to ensure compliance with prescribed tolerances and standards, using precision measuring tools.
  • Execute all tasks in accordance with established safety and quality management protocols.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and conduct periodic inventory assessments.
  • Ensure overall organization of the workshop and outdoor storage area.
  • Compile technical manuals and project documentation utilizing MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Business Center.
  • Participate in a rotation with team members to provide 24/7/365 support for clients.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a direct customer service capacity.

Skills: Must possess electrical and/or electronic education or experience with wiring, electric motors, variable frequency drives, and/or control panels; troubleshooting skills; a customer service-oriented mindset; strong attention to detail; and the ability to conduct root cause failure analysis and implement effective preventive strategies.

Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of MS Office is required. Familiarity with Business Center is preferred.
