Role Overview:

The Quality Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the Quality team by overseeing inspection and quality control processes for raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods. This is essential to ensure adherence to quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that products meet customer specifications, industry regulations, and internal standards.
  • Assist in the development and execution of qualification and validation protocols, such as IQ/OQ/PQ, to align with Master Validation Plans.
  • Lead the formulation of inspection strategies for incoming materials, in-process manufacturing, and pre-shipment evaluations, contributing insights during NPI meetings.
  • Act as the primary liaison for customers regarding quality-related inquiries and issues.
  • Support the resolution of customer quality concerns, including complaints and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Product, Manufacturing, and Process Engineers, as well as other subject matter experts, to address quality issues raised by customers.
  • Oversee the development of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) in response to customer requests and generate customer-specific quality reports.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of manufacturing quality and efficiency by conducting inspections, analyzing results, and proposing process improvements.
  • Manage team workloads effectively, ensuring that assignments are balanced and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Lead and motivate the team to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all equipment used for product acceptance is calibrated and maintained properly.
  • Maintain regular communication with management regarding quality issues and concerns.
