Responsibilities of Alpha Education Specialists:
- Act as a special education instructor, which includes developing lesson plans based on established unit plans, designing assessments, maintaining accurate grade records, and supporting a small group of learners.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure the effective implementation of IEPs across all educational settings.
- Utilize both formal and informal assessment data to create legally compliant and data-informed IEPs.
- Deliver specialized academic instruction to students with disabilities who meet eligibility criteria as defined by federal and state regulations.
- Provide specialized academic instruction through push-in, pull-out, and/or consultative models for students with exceptional needs.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of and adherence to special education laws, as well as school policies and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including observations and feedback sessions.
