Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team at Michelin. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards, developing and implementing environmental policies and programs, and monitoring and managing waste disposal, pollution control, and resource conservation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and prepare detailed reports.
  • Identify external and internal regulatory requirements for the domain and conduct gap analyses to ensure site compliance.
  • Develop and implement environmental policies and programs to minimize the site's environmental footprint.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and the community on environmental matters.
  • Provide training and support to staff on environmental best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental or safety compliance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Familiarity with environmental management systems.
