Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Michelin. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and prepare detailed reports to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement environmental policies and programs to reduce waste, emissions, and other negative environmental impacts.
  • Monitor and manage waste disposal, pollution control, and resource conservation to minimize the company's environmental footprint.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and the community on environmental matters to ensure transparency and cooperation.
  • Provide training and support to staff on environmental best practices and sustainability initiatives.
  • Stay current with new regulations and industry trends related to environmental protection to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental compliance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA).
  • Familiarity with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO).
  • Understanding of waste management, air quality, water treatment, and soil remediation processes.
  • Ability to conduct environmental audits and risk assessments.
