Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team at Michelin North America. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and prepare detailed reports.
  • Identify external and internal regulatory requirements for the domain and conduct gap analyses to ensure site compliance.
  • Develop and implement environmental policies and programs to minimize the site's environmental footprint.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and the community on environmental matters.
  • Provide training and support to staff on environmental best practices.
  • Stay current with new regulations and industry trends related to environmental protection.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental or safety compliance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Familiarity with environmental management systems.
  • Understanding of waste management, air quality, water treatment, and soil remediation processes.
