Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager

Are you a results-driven leader looking to take your career to the next level? Our Assistant Branch Managers are the backbone of our operations, responsible for guiding their teams to meet and exceed customer expectations, safety protocols, and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing branch operations, accounting, and customer service.
  • Supervise and lead branch employees to achieve complete customer satisfaction and branch financial goals.
  • Manage relationships with customers to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain professional and ethical business relationships with all customers and employees.
  • Act as a liaison between the branch and corporate departments to ensure compliance needs are met.
  • Manage costs and revenues, P&L, man-hour budgets, and projections to meet expected financial goals.
  • Manage the retention and hiring of branch staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraising, and disciplining.
  • Monitor competition and create strategies to stay ahead in the market.
  • Develop plans for the efficient use of materials, employees, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain reports, presentations, and forecasting of branch data to company management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial/industrial/oilfield equipment rental and service with at least 1 year of management experience.
  • Ability to work 7 AM to 5 PM schedule with additional time required according to customer needs.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and accomplish tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Experience leading a team to complete department-assigned projects.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid computer skills (RentalMan experience a plus).
