Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare West. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures, including receiving radioactive materials, preparing doses, and maintaining radiation records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures
  • Receive and prepare radioactive materials, maintaining accurate radiation records
  • Utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment
  • Perform related duties, including scheduling, charging exams, and taking emergency after-hours calls

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited nuclear school of medicine or an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Current license with the State of Texas (TMB license) and ARRT and/or NMTCB license
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment preferred
