By partnering with nonprofit organizations, we redirect millions of pounds of quality, pre-owned items away from landfills and back into closets and homes for reuse.

As a GreenDrop Floating Site Attendant, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment, where you can make a real difference in the lives of our customers and the community.

Essential Job Functions

  • Act as a floater and cover shifts within designated districts.

  • Ability to drive a box truck to scheduled locations to load donations, and unload to dedicated yards multiple days a week.

  • Promptly open the location each assigned day and prepare site for business.

  • Independently interact with donors with a positive attitude.

  • Acquire donations from donors and engage in pleasant conversation.

  • Assist donors with their donations and help to unload their vehicles.

  • Record details, and organize the collection site to achieve maximum efficiency.

  • Maintain overall cleanliness and safety standards of the site.

  • Perform all opening and closing procedures.

  • Other duties assigned by manager.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • A clean MVR with a valid DL.

  • Reliable transportation and commitment to attendance and punctuality.

  • The capacity to adjust your work functions throughout your day/week.

  • Service-oriented with an outstanding ability to interact with people.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Honesty and integrity.

  • Ability to lift 50lbs continuously throughout the day.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the day.

  • Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.

  • Willingness and ability to work weekend days as a regular part of the position schedule.

  • Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.
