Position Overview

As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our digital products at Vets Hired. Your expertise will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that empower our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a skilled team of engineers who specialize in distributed microservices and comprehensive system architectures.
  • Engage in the development of Front End Applications, employing a test-driven development approach to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Take ownership of the technical architecture and implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
  • Demonstrate your enthusiasm for emerging technologies by actively participating in technology communities and mentoring fellow engineers.
  • Work closely with product managers to deliver scalable cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences and promote financial empowerment.
  • Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript (including frameworks like Angular and React), HTML/CSS, TypeScript, and Java, along with open-source frameworks and RESTful web services, ensuring compatibility across various browsers and devices.
Essential Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering (internship experience is not considered).
