Overview:

The Agile Project Manager 2 is responsible for overseeing complex system projects and programs. This role requires a candidate with extensive experience in Release Train Engineering (RTE) to establish and manage a new Agile Release Train (ART) for application development, particularly in collaboration with external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assemble project teams, ensuring the identification of necessary resources and the development of comprehensive schedules for timely project completion.
  • Collaborate closely with development and support teams to assess labor and scheduling impacts, effectively communicating these to business partners.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, set clear expectations, and proactively mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of project scope, objectives, and the roles of team members to coordinate activities effectively.
  • Oversee interdependencies and integration of related projects, establishing strategies to meet timelines and adhere to budget constraints.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks to manage technology project risks and issues.
  • Maintain project documentation, including artifacts, plans, and tactical roadmaps, while providing input to scrum teams to ensure traceability within Azure DevOps.
  • Make informed decisions regarding work methods, often in ambiguous situations, with minimal direction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 10 years in project management.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies and KANBAN.
  • PMP Certification is mandatory.
  • SAFe Agile certifications are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE).
  • Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid Claims/Encounter Submission processes.
