Medical Office LPN Primary Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Primary Care team in Norwalk, CT. As a Medical Office LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians and physician assistants.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for medical exams, obtain vital signs, and collect medical data.
- Provide direct patient care, including vaccinations, medications, and wound care.
- Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians or physician assistants.
- Instruct patients and families on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
- Communicate with patients via phone to provide follow-up care and relay physician instructions.
- Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve our practice's mission and quality improvement goals.
- Meet all meaningful use requirements and fulfill compliance responsibilities.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
- Computer skills and data entry experience.
- Ability to obtain accurate patient vitals and administer vaccinations.
- Minimum one year of experience as an LPN.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Phlebotomy and EKG skills.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
This role is based in Norwalk, CT, and requires a 40-hour workweek with 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, between 7:45am and 5:30pm.
We offer a competitive salary range of $22.2462 to $41.3202 hourly, as well as a sign-on bonus for full-time externals.
