Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for medical exams, obtain vital signs, and collect medical data.
- Provide direct patient care, including vaccinations, medications, and wound care.
- Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians.
- Instruct patients on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
- Communicate with patients via phone to provide follow-up care and relay physician instructions.
- Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve practice goals and improve patient outcomes.
- Meet meaningful use requirements and fulfill compliance responsibilities.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
- Computer skills and data entry experience.
- Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals.
- Vaccine administration and medication preparation experience.
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical setting.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Phlebotomy and EKG experience.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN Program.
