Medical Office LPN Primary Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team as a Medical Office Primary Care Provider. This role will involve assisting physicians and physician assistants in providing primary medical care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare materials and equipment for patient exams
- Obtain patient history and vital signs
- Provide direct patient care, including vaccinations and wound care
- Collect and analyze patient specimens
- Instruct patients on preventive care and medication management
- Communicate with patients via phone to provide follow-up and test results
- Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve practice goals
- Meet meaningful use requirements and fulfill compliance responsibilities
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology
- Computer skills and data entry
- Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals
- Vaccine administration and medication preparation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience
- Proficiency in multiple languages
- Phlebotomy and EKG skills
Education:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited LPN Program
Work Environment:
- 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts, 8:00am-5:30pm
- Monday-Friday, rotating shifts
Salary Range:
- $22.2500 - $41.3200 Hourly
