Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our Primary Care team at Nuvance Health. As a Medical Office LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for medical exams, obtain vital signs, and collect medical data as directed by the physician.
  • Provide direct patient care, including ear irrigation, vaccinations, and medications, wound care, and suture removal.
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze patient specimens as directed by the physician.
  • Instruct patients and families on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
  • Communicate with patients by phone to provide follow-up, test results, and physician instructions.
  • Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve the Practice's and WCMG's missions through quality improvement.
  • Complete meaningful use requirements and fulfill compliance responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
  • Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
  • Computer skills/data entry.
  • Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals.
  • Vaccine administration and medication preparation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Phlebotomy and EKG skills.
Work Environment

This is a part-time position, working 24 hours per week, with a standard schedule of Monday-Friday, 8AM-5:30PM, either (3) 8-hour days or (4) 6-hour days.
