Responsibilities- Develop and implement departmental goals and objectives that align with medical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements.
- Direct clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management.
- Plan, organize, and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepare and monitor budgets and ensure that assigned nursing areas operate within allocated funds.
- Coordinate and direct internal and externally-driven audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree in nursing or a related field; Bachelor's degree in Nursing if Master's is not in Nursing.
- Three years' registered nurse experience, with one year in direct people management/leadership.
- Experience as an ED RN and/or ED leader.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA), AND Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services or Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State.
