We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Anesthesia Support Specialist to join our team at ChristianaCare, a leading healthcare organization in Newark, Delaware.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work as part of a dynamic anesthesia team, providing exceptional patient care and support. As a Certified Anesthesia Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the anesthesia team with specific patient care tasks, equipment maintenance, and preparing patients for procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the anesthesia team with patient preparation, transportation, and monitoring during procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Restock and manage anesthesia supplies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide excellent communication and teamwork skills, working effectively with the anesthesia team, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Certification as an Anesthesia Technician or equivalent experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in the Operating Room or similar environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
