Job Overview

The Service Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing administrative assistance to our Regional Service Managers and a dedicated team of over 15 Field Service Technicians. This position requires an individual who is organized, motivated, and possesses a positive attitude, with the capability to effectively manage the administrative processes within our Service Department.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties include managing service job tickets and associated tasks:

  • Collaborate with Regional Field Managers to oversee job tickets from initiation to completion.
  • Facilitate communication regarding regional field activities during daily meetings.
  • Review and disseminate regional service reports pertaining to job tickets.
  • Coordinate technician schedules related to job tickets, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Investigate equipment availability and relevant sales qualification documents.
  • Maintain customer information related to equipment and contacts.
  • Organize technician overtime and weekend compensation.
  • Assist Sales and Engineering departments with installation projects.
  • Convey technician support requirements in the field to Regional Service Managers.
  • Provide backup phone support to Regional Managers as needed.
  • Generate parts orders requested by regional field technicians.
  • Create and maintain process documentation.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, including scheduling and best practices.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

A background in a service-oriented and sales-focused environment within a privately-owned manufacturing firm is advantageous. The ideal candidate should demonstrate confidentiality, diplomacy, and a positive demeanor, coupled with resilience, assertiveness, and practical problem-solving skills.
