Our client, a global IT Consulting and Software Development firm, is seeking to employ a Medicaid Project Manager. This position is remote.
*This is a 6-month W2 contract with potential for extension or conversion*
As the Medicaid Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in steering the successful delivery of extensive, cross-departmental initiatives aimed at reducing organizational risks while enhancing strategic prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle for intricate, high-stakes projects.
- Utilize project management frameworks and tools effectively.
- Assess costs and feasibility of various solutions to address project challenges.
- Administer project financials.
- Coordinate teams across both business and technology sectors.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (advanced degree preferred).
- Significant experience in Medicaid is essential.
- Preferred certifications include PMP and Agile.
- 10-15 years of experience in project management.
- At least 2 years of experience in process management.
- A minimum of 2 years in health insurance operations (if PMP certified) or 4 years (if not).
- Familiarity with CQI, TQM, PDCA, PMBOK, or other recognized improvement methodologies.
