RN - Trauma & Surgical Intensive Care Unit

We offer a variety of FTE options, including 75% and 90%, with positions primarily working 12-hour evening/night shifts and an every third weekend rotation. Holiday rotation is required. You will be eligible for a $4/hour evening, $5/hour night, and $4.25/hour weekend differential as applicable for hours worked.

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to acutely ill surgical and trauma patients in an academic medical and Level 1 Trauma Center.
You will join a team of remarkable nurses and have the opportunity to care for general care and IMC level patients in a 26-bed unit, where critical thinking is a must.
Work in a collaborative environment, where nurses are an integral part of the multidisciplinary team with a strong voice in advocating for quality patient care.

Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Minimum - Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit.
Preferred - Relevant RN experience.
Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact.
CPR certification. ACLS obtained within six (6) months of hire.
Preferred - Relevant Certification.
