Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Trauma Surgical Unit at University Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional care to acutely ill surgical and trauma patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to surgical and trauma patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in acuity-based staffing ratios to ensure optimal patient safety.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of WI or compact state.
  • Minimum six months of nursing experience or completion of UW Health's Nurse Residency Program.
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and relevant RN experience.
