Job Summary:

The Surgical Trauma IMC unit is a 26-bed unit that provides comprehensive care to patients with multi-system trauma and high-acuity surgical needs. As a Registered Nurse on this unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with multi-system trauma and high-acuity surgical needs
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize interventions
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage patient care equipment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Current WI nursing license or compact license from permanent address state
  • 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years
  • IMC and recent acute medical or surgical experience required
  • Basic Arrhythmia experience and certification through American Heart Association
  • Ability to work 36 hours/week, Evening/Night shifts, with every other weekend rotation and some holidays
