Job Summary

Medline is seeking a skilled Assembly Line Technician to perform repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce component trays with surgical/medical products. The successful candidate will be responsible for placing parts in specified relationships, counting components for accuracy, and wrapping component trays with linen and table covers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Place parts in specified relationships to each other
  • Count components for accuracy
  • Wrap component trays with linen and table covers
  • Work on a line where tasks vary as different models of the same article move along the line
  • Maintain clean production areas and production equipment
Requirements
  • Ability to read and understand information presented in writing in English
  • Ability to perform basic math (addition and subtraction)
  • Standing and/or walking for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per day, 6 days a week)
  • Repetitive hand movement
  • Lifting weights up to 25 pounds (with occasional heavier weights)
  • Ability to work in a closed-sterile environment
  • Ability to work daily overtime (2-3 hours) on a regular basis (up to 6 days a week)
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous production/manufacturing experience
