Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Manager to join our team at the Colorado Fiscal Institute. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure significant funding from foundations, individuals, and other sources.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to achieve revenue targets
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including foundations, donors, and community partners
- Research and identify new funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Leadership Team to develop and implement fundraising strategies
- Manage and track donor relationships, including data entry, reporting, and communication
- Develop and implement a comprehensive grants calendar, including research, writing, and submission of grant proposals
- Work closely with the Communications Team to develop and implement fundraising campaigns and events
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling proposals and reports
- Experience with fundraising software and databases, including CRM systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
