Job Opportunity
Job Summary:Essentia Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and comfort care, promoting a positive patient experience.
  • Take vital signs, complete recordkeeping, and promptly report changes in patient condition to the RN.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to Joint Commission and regulatory standards.

Requirements:
  • Meet one of the following requirements: 6 months of nursing assistant experience, completion of one semester of clinical rotations, successful completion of an EH provided Nursing Assistant training, verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program, or current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry.
  • BLS certified or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date.

Work Environment:

Job Location: Building B - St Marys Medical Center

Shift Rotation: Day/Eve/Night Rotation

Hours Per Pay Period: 40

Compensation Range: $16.72 - $21.58 / hour

Union: SMMC Main Service Workers Local 70 (SMSVW)

FTE: 0.5

Weekends: Every Other
