Nursing Assistant Job Summary

At St. Luke's Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the direction of our Registered Nurses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures for assigned patients.
  • Provide technical assistance with patient care activities and services.
  • Participate in daily unit activities and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Nursing Assistant certification on the Minnesota Department of Health Nursing Assistant Registry or the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
Working Conditions:

Regularly exposed to risk of blood borne diseases. May be exposed to/occasionally exposed to unpleasant patient elements.
