Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Essentia Health. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients and ensuring their safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs
  • Offer comfort care and other assistance to patients
  • Transfer patients safely and efficiently
  • Take vital signs and maintain accurate recordkeeping
  • Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the RN
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must meet one of the following requirements:

  • 6 months of nursing assistant experience
  • Completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program
  • Successful completion of an EH provided Nursing Assistant training within one month of hire
  • Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program
  • Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry

BLS certification is also required or the ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date.
