Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Aldi Inc. As an Assistant Retail Management, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve store performance, establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports, and identify training and development opportunities to enhance employee performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive prompt and courteous service, and that all customer complaints are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels, and that all products are properly stocked and displayed.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of retail sales associates, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their performance expectations.
  • Financial Management: Assist the direct leader with achieving the store payroll and total loss budget, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform other physical tasks as required by the job.
