Responsibilities

  2. Sales and Profitability: Achieve budgeted sales, shrink, and profits for the bakery department, driving business growth and success.
  3. Inventory Management: Maintain desired levels of inventory and supplies, ensuring efficient operations and minimizing waste.
  4. Operational Excellence: Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  5. Product Quality: Ensure the quality of products meets Lowes Foods standards, maintaining high-quality products for our guests.
  6. Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  7. Team Leadership: Provide guidance, orientation, training, and feedback to ensure bakery department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards.
  8. Additional Responsibilities: Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as necessary to achieve standards, maintain labor budget and scheduling standards, and perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  1. Excellent Communication Skills: Possess a friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work well with others.
  2. Leadership Abilities: Ability to supervise people, including training and development, and demonstrate ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  3. Technical Skills: Knowledge of bakery operations, ability to read and understand information and direction, and effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
  4. Physical Demands: Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
  5. Education and Experience: Must be at least 18 years old and have relevant experience in bakery operations or a related field.
