Job Responsibilities:

The individual in this role will be responsible for assisting with the input and verification of data across various computer systems and databases related to the school bus and support vehicle fleet. Duties include:
  1. Matching documentation such as purchase orders, invoices, and titles from the Department of Education, vehicle suppliers, and the Department of Motor Vehicles for new school buses and support fleet vehicles.
  2. Coordinating and implementing procedural or data-flow modifications, data exchanges, and testing updates to systems or databases.
  3. Facilitating communication between the Central Office, Maintenance Shops, and other relevant stakeholders.
  4. Performing additional related tasks as assigned.

This position is situated within the Office of Transportation/Central Office.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:

A high school diploma along with relevant program experience is required. A bachelor's degree may substitute for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree with experience in automated information or communication system design, installation, operation, repair, sales, or marketing, coupled with five (5) years of information technology experience; or a bachelor's degree with six (6) years of information technology experience; or an associate degree with seven (7) years of information technology experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree on a year-for-year basis.
