Student Media Business Manager
Job Summary:The Student Media Business Manager is responsible for securing advertisements and underwriting for the Department of Student Media. This role involves creating press packets, building relationships with local businesses, and managing revenue spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities:- Secure advertisements and underwriting for the Department of Student Media
- Create press packets for local businesses
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses
- Manage revenue spreadsheets and track payments
- Work with the Student Media Designer and client on potential advertisements
- Familiarize yourself with FCC rules and regulations regarding underwriting and on-air announcements
- Attend staff meetings and participate in the Student Media Leadership Team
- Maintain weekly-posted office hours in The Xavierite office
- Must be a student at Saint Xavier University
- Federal Work Study required
