Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Meat Department Manager to join our team at Foodmaxx Supermarkets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the meat department team, ensuring that all products are displayed and merchandised to meet customer expectations, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the meat department team to achieve sales and customer service goals
- Develop and implement effective merchandising and display strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
- Ensure that all products are displayed and stocked in a clean and organized manner
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
- Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge
- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a meat department management role
- Proven track record of achieving sales and customer service goals
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
