Palliative Care Physician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Palliative Care Physician to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a Palliative Care Consulting Physician, you will provide professional consultation services for patients and mentor clinical staff in palliative care principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide palliative care professional consultation services for patients
  • Mentor and model palliative care principles for clinical staff
  • Mentor residents, students, fellows, and medical staff in palliative care
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice or Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice or Internal Medicine
  • Hospice and Palliative Care Certification through the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Osteopathic Board process
  • Completion of a Family Practice or Internal Medicine residency
  • Harvard Palliative Care Training
  • Proof of Added Competency in Palliative Care
  • Minimum of 15 CME/1 year in Palliative Care
