Palliative Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Physician to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. As a Palliative Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with serious illnesses.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive palliative care to patients with serious illnesses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Stay up-to-date with the latest palliative care research, guidelines, and best practices
- Active or eligible for NY state medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in Palliative Care (with ability to become board certified within 5 years)
- Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
- Graduate from an accredited medical school
