We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Jack Cooper. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our fleet of 2600 Semi-Tractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues with class 8 trucks
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, suspension, and hydraulic systems
  • Ensure parts inventory is adequate to meet repair needs
  • Communicate effectively with shop management and team members

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in diesel engine repair
  • Valid driver's license; CDL preferred
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
