Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Government Payer Biller/Collector to join our team at Prime Healthcare Management Inc. This role is responsible for both billing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate payment from government payers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain deficiency lists to obtain missing documents from internal or external entities
  • Resolve claim rejections and package claims for global billing
  • Perform proactive follow-up with payers and other entities to secure payment
  • Accountable for billing through account closure
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital government payer/commercial collector
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Knowledge of contract interpretation and hospital billing requirements
  • Familiarity with managed care payor contract and contract language
Working Experience

Must have experience with all payer types, including commercial, governmental, Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, etc., and the ability to cross-over into different payers.
