Job Summary:

The Senior Medicare Medicaid Biller Collector is responsible for managing the billing and collection process for Medicare and Medicaid claims. This includes gathering and securing all necessary information, resolving claim rejections, and securing payment of accounts in accordance with payer guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the billing and collection process for Medicare and Medicaid claims.
  2. Gather and secure all necessary information for billing and collection.
  3. Resolve claim rejections and secure payment of accounts.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of billing and collection activities.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless billing and collection processes.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of three years hospital managed care/commercial collector experience.
  2. 2 years of recent hospital Medicare billing experience in an automated environment.
  3. Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.
  4. Knowledge of contract interpretation and hospital billing requirements.
  5. Familiarity with out-of-state Medicaid billing guidelines and basic Medicaid/Medicare billing rules and regulations.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $20.00 to $38.00, depending on skillset, years of experience, education, and credentials.
