About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated psychiatrist to join our team as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychiatry in our Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical care in our mental health crisis unit, teaching and supervising residents and nurse practitioners, and contributing to scholarly activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in our mental health crisis unit
  • Teach and supervise residents and nurse practitioners in our department
  • Contribute to scholarly activities, including research and publication
  • Participate in faculty development programs and departmental committees
Requirements
  • MD degree
  • Georgia Medical License or ability to obtain one
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry
  • Strong interpersonal, clinical, and professional skills
  • Acute Psychiatric Care Administration Experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Acute Psychiatric Care Experience
  • Psychiatry Resident and Nurse Practitioner Supervision Experience
