Mental Health Crisis Unit Medical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our Mental Health Crisis Unit. As a key member of our Psychiatry Department, you will be responsible for creating and implementing policies for care and supervision in the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the provision of care in the Mental Health Crisis Unit
- Create, revise, and implement policies for care and supervision
- Supervise nurse practitioners and residents
- Engage in teaching, scholarship, and clinical service in the field of psychiatry and behavioral sciences
- Participate in department administrative duties, including serving on committees
- MD degree
- Georgia Medical License or ability to obtain one
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, and professional skills
- Acute Psychiatric Care Administration Experience
- Psychiatry Resident and Nurse Practitioner Supervision Experience
